Almost incidentally to his main point about the firing of Steven Salaita, Scott Lemieux wrote:

Salaita didn't have a contract signed, nothing to see here, move along. None of Dylan Farrow's allegations against Woody Allen have been proven beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law, nothing to see here, move along.
